Abstrak

In cultivating saline tilapia, it requires a good source of fresh water, cultivators using electric
water pumps have so far been controlled, so it is necessary to make a tool that can monitor water pumps
and control water pumps on an IoT (Internet of Things) basis. Several previous studies have discussed
the control and monitoring of water pumps including, Control and Monitoring of Cooling Pumps in
Siantan PLTD Based on IoT (Internet of Things). Subsequent research discusses the Prototype of a
Control and Monitoring System for Internet of Things-Based Water Pumps. The next study discusses
the Bathtub Volume Monitoring System and Bathtub Filling Pump Control Using the IoT-Based Wemos
D1. So the researchers used the NodeMCU ESP8266 module for the monitoring and control system of
water pumps in saline tilapia ponds based on IoT (Internet of Things). Thus a remote control system is
needed that can monitor the condition of the water pumps. The results obtained from the preparation of
this final project are: (1) The creation of a tool called monitoring and controlling water pumps in saline
tilapia ponds based on the Internet of Things which functions to monitor electrical quantities such as
current, power voltage and pump temperature. Besides that, it can also be used to control pumps
manually or automatically with the internet using the blynk application. (2) The average percentage of
tool test deviation against the standard measuring instrument in each test in this final project is current
of 0.02%, voltage of 0.22% and power of 1.8%. pump temperature gets the highest value of `49.53 ˚C
and the lowest of 45.01 ˚C.
