Abstrak

In the era of globalization and the advancement of information technology, the need
for fast and efficient data processing and analysis has become an increasingly central focus in
various scientific fields and industries. Grid Computing, as a distributed computing paradigm, has
emerged as an innovative solution to address these challenges. Grid computing coordinates the
collaboration of geographically distributed and heterogeneous resources to perform. Furthermore,
we present an explanation of the fundamentals of grid computing based on a collection of scientific
papers in the last decade. Grid computing has been a powerhouse for many complex
computations. In this paper, the basic understanding of grid computing, its benefits, terms and
concepts, and its implementation have been examined and discussed in detail.
